Exceptional staff, with special mention to Eva, who attended us in all our needs about the hotel and city as we had never been attended in any establishment before, ONE TEN! complete breakfast, with "continental" option and Greek food. Curiously, I must say that the juice, artificial as in all hotels, was very good. Well insulated rooms and good size, in fact we had a terrace! Exceptional hotel and stay. Highly recommended!
The only problem in the room was the bathroom screen: it was too short and because of that the water came out quite easily. Regarding the hotel, we can only say that the rooftop bar did not open or close at the hours mentioned by the establishment and we could never use it because it was almost always closed or with the blind down, without any service.

The location is excellent. Nearby is everything you need: 2 supermarkets and mini-market, ATM, many restaurants, taverns, coffee shops and a variety of fast food, shopping street Ermu with many boutiques and various shops. The Monastiraki metro station, with direct connections to the airport (about 45 minutes) and the port (about 20 minutes) is only a 5-minute walk away. All major attractions can be reached on foot. The entrance to the Acropolis, for example, can be reached in about 15-20 minutes. The rooms are very clean. Excellent, very comfortable beds. It is possible to have free tea, coffee or cocoa with biscuits all day long until 5.30pm. Very good breakfast. All staff were very kind. Thank you for the warm welcome.
Little things. I'd like a coat rack in the hallway for outerwear, so I don't have to hang it in the closet with other clothes in the room. We were in December, it's probably not relevant during the warm season... There wasn't enough shaving mirror and kettle in the room to be able to drink tea or coffee at any time of day. Everything else was fine.

The breathtaking rooftop view of the Acropolis, especially at night, enhanced our stay. A personalized welcome drink made us feel special upon arrival.

Excellent location, you can walk to any part of Athens, especially the Plaka neighborhood and Sintagma Square. The Monastiraki metro station (L1 and L3) is only 100 meters from the hotel and some major monuments such as the ancient Agora or the Roman temple are very close by, as for the hotel itself, the great room, very comfortable beds, spacious, excellent cleaning service, very good breakfast, quite a selection. I especially recommend the Greek section, because they have a handmade Greek yogurt, sweets and typical breads. Besides, the service person at the bar speaks perfect Spanish. Take advantage of visiting their terrace and drink something, the view is unmissable, I liked everything, their staff very very attentive.
The elevator was very crowded and somewhat narrow, so in the more complex hours (breakfast) you could hardly use it. That's for putting a snag, something noisy, because in our room came the noises of the street, but with plugs no problem.

I liked the hotel. Monastiraki Metro Station is 5 minutes on foot, no airport transfers. Major attractions such as the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum (10-15 minutes), Roman and Athens Agora, Hadrian Library are within walking distance. Many restaurants, souvenir shops, etc. are close by. There is a supermarket in the same building as the hotel. hotel has a mansard overlooking the Acropolis and surrounding area, with a side view from the balcony of my room towards the Acropolis, directly onto the building under reconstruction. renovations at the hotel were fresh, furniture, appliances, etc. looked new. For breakfast a standard set, with Greek motifs, I liked it. staff is polite. Checked in in 15 minutes, took cash tourist tax (1. 5€ per night). For my purpose - in two days to see the main sights and fly to the islands, hotel was perfect.

The view from the rooftop bar is lovely, especially at sunset. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with delicious homemade yogurt. Navigating some of the pedestrian streets with rolling luggage can be tricky, and the bathroom lighting was a bit dim for my liking. Despite these minor inconveniences, the location is perfectly central was great.

Every visit to Athens we like to stay here. It has particularly good location, near a taxi as well as the acropolis or metro. The place to have dinner at a medium distance from the hotel is Maiandros.
